• Signed in ink by a number of players including Bill Foulkes, Dennis Viollet, Johnny Berry, Jackie Blanchflower, Tommy Taylor, and, significantly, Duncan Edwards and others associated with the celebrated “Busby Babes” team of the mid-1950s.
• Mounted alongside a later Manchester United shirt.
• Presented framed and glazed.

Several of the signatories were among those involved in the Munich air disaster of February 1958, lending the piece particular historical resonance.

A scarce and poignant survival, such multi-signed items from the Busby Babes period are increasingly difficult to obtain, particularly those incorporating a number of players whose careers, and in some cases lives, were cut short by the 1958 Munich tragedy.

The present piece offers a tangible connection to one of the most revered and emotive chapters in the history of English football.
